Artist working with languages that intercept image, movement, voice, scenography and light, approaching the body as a vessel for the transformation and mediation of hypnagogic states, as well as for the gestures and procedures of the visceral conscience of the present.
Concluded the Master EXERCE at ICI-CCN Montpellier/FR and the BA in Visual Arts at the Porto’s Fine Arts University/ Pt; studied Noh Theatre at Kyoto Art Center/ Jp.
Among others Miranda has presented the dance pieces ΛƬSUMOЯI, CABRAQIMERA, DREAM IS THE DREAMER, BOCA MURALHA, MAZEZAM and REIPOSTO REIMORTO at Centre Pompidou (Paris/ FR), Palais de Tokyo (Paris/ FR), Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Lisbon/PT), Serralves Museum (Porto/PT), National Theatre (Porto, Pt), Festival Materiais Diversos (Pt), Festival DDD (Pt), Festival Pays de Danses (Liège, Be), Festival Mindelact (Cape Verde), Festival Short Theatre (Rome/IT).
Furthermore, Miranda has presented the visual installations POROMECHANICS at Centre Pompidou (Paris/ FR), Festival Walk&Talk (Azores/Pt), São Luiz Theatre Lisbon, as well as, DIAGONALANIMAL at Fabrik Festival (Fall River/ USA) and MOUNTAIN MOUTH at Dance Box and Maizuru RB (Kobe/ Maizuru/ Jp).
In 2022 she collaborated as Light and Scenography designer for the project VUZA CANONS – Scores for Light and Percussion with Sebastien roux, Ensemble 0 & Drumming GP, presented at Serralves Museum (Porto/Pt) and La Soufflerie in Rezé (Fr).
She is part of the vocal collective COBRACORAL with Clélia Colonna and Ece Canli, having played at CCB/Lisboa, Jardins Efémeros Festival 2022 and Tremor Festival 2023.
In 2016, Portuguese TV released the Documentary “PORTUGAL QUE DANÇA“, one of whose episodes is dedicated to the dance piece Boca Muralha.
She is currently one of the artists of GrandLuxe Network and in 2024 was one of the nominees for Salavisa European Dance Award (SEDA) bestowed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation 2024.
